| I grew up with horses and currently own a purebred, black Arabian mare named Shazrey Moonbeam. We call her Shazzy for short because she's so jazzy. Portraits include full head and neck. Here are a number of drawings I've done of horses at the Morningview Riding Center where I board my horse. | ||

| If you have a special halter or bridle, I encourage you to use it in the photo you send. I will pay careful attention to your special tack. From experience, side photographs turn out better than head-on portraits for horses. Full figure portraits include the entire horse and some orienting aspects of the background. | ||

| Group portraits can mean many interesting things with horses. It could be two horses, a horse and rider, a mother and foal, or an owner just horsing around with their horse. |
